C.B. Horne was established in 1982, specifically to process king and queen scallops, which are day fished from the clear waters surrounding the Isle of Man. Our main focus is to provide fresh and frozen scallops to the trade throughout the UK and Europe, where our name has become synonymous with the highest quality scallops available.

Thanks to early measures taken to prevent over fishing and the implementation of conservation restrictions on the size of scallop landed, the Isle of Man is well known for the larger size of scallop it produces. The fisheries continue to be well managed and due to continuous research over the past two decades, we have more information on our scallop fishery then anywhere else in Europe and this will enable us to implement future measures to ensure the sustainability and quality of the Isle of Man seafood products.
